How is a HydraFacial Done?

Outstanding HydraFacial®  from Liftique in Orange County.

Step One:  Understanding the Importance of Skin Hydration.

Healthy skin requires hydration. It is what keeps skin vibrant, full, and youthful.

Liftique specializes in offering HydraFacial® treatments, a patented process that improves and restores overall skin health.

Why is Skin Hydration and a HydraFacial So Important to Skin Health?

The skin is a very complex organ. It is teeming with fluids, secretions, and tissues that all work in concert to keep your skin healthy and vibrant. This healthy system cannot function without one simple chemical compound... water.

Your skin is composed of over 60% water. So replenishing and maintaining a sufficient level of hydration is vital for overall skin health. Not only is hydration important for healthy skin, it also reverses the effects of aging, eliminates common skin abnormalities, and helps your body defend against bacteria, viruses, and contaminants.

As we get older we start to lose our ability to hydrate our skin naturally. As a result, dead skin cells begin to build up, debris blocks our skin pores, and wrinkles and fine lines begin to form.

This is where a HydraFacial® can make all the difference. It’s that extra special care that can return unhealthy, aging skin to glowing, radiant beauty.

What are the Before and After results I can expect from a HydraFacial?

You may come into the Liftique offices with any number of skin issues, whether they are wrinkles, brown spots, sun damage, hyper-pigmentation, large pores, or even acne.

HydraFacial® is an extremely effective treatment for all of these common skin conditions. The patented FDA approved technology is non-invasive, requires no downtime, and is very affordable.

Lifitique’s HydraFacial® specialists start by exfoliating your dead skin cells with a mild chemical peel. They will then gently vacuum up the debris. Finally they hydrate the skin using a variety of natural, bio-compatible nutrients and peptides to restore your healthy skin.

You’ll notice improvements right away as elasticity and firmness increases and wrinkles and fine lines fade.

Your overall skin health will improve as the old oily and congested skin is cleansed and enlarged pores are reduced. You’ll experience vibrant, even skin tone, smoother skin texture, and less brown spots.

What are the Benefits of HydraFacial® Treatments?

While HydraFacial® treatments are ideal for hydrating your skin, they can also treat such common skin ailments as melasma, hyper-pigmentation, sun damage, age spots, and acne. HydraFacial® removes excess oil, shrinks enlarged pores, and reduces the early signs of aging.

This is because the non-invasive HydraFacial® process eliminates old, dead, damaged skin cells, exposing the healthy cells underneath.

As nutrients are added the skin matrix is rebuilt, hydrating and protecting the fresh skin cells with antioxidants and peptides.

Your skin will be rejuvenated, hydrated, and healthy. Wrinkles and fine lines will fade, and you’ll notice cleaner, smoother, brighter skin.

What are the steps involved in a HydraFacial® Treatment?

Step One: Cleansing and Exfoliating

This process is important for removing dead skin cells and preparing your skin for the other steps in the HydraFacial® treatment. Dead skin cells are the main cause of dry skin. They clog your pores, blocking sebum, moisture, and valuable nutrients needed to protect your skin.

Your Liftique HydraFacial® specialists will start step one with a gentle chemical peel. We use a low percentage solution of Glycolic and Salicylic Acid. These safe and effective medical-grade exfoliants are perfect for loosening the dirt and oil in your clogged pores. Salicylic Acid is a common ingredient in acne medications, as it penetrates deep into the skin to target and dissolve debris. It does double duty as an anti-inflammatory, protecting your skin even as it eliminates the old, damaged skin cells.

Step Two:  Vacuum Extraction

After the chemical peel has loosened and unclogged the oil and debris in your pores, your Liftique skin care specialists will use a special HydraFacial® device to extract the old, dead skin and impurities, leaving fresh, clean skin.

Step Three:  Instant Hydration or Fuse and Protect

The final step is an application of nutrients, antioxidants, and peptides to rebuild and renew your skin hydrations levels. The nutrients and antioxidants protect and preserve the freshly hydrated skin. Additionally, this step will stimulate your skin’s production of sebum and collagen, which will ensure continued natural hydration.

How long does a HydraFacial take?

The entire HydraFacial® patented vortex-fusion process takes only a half hour. There is no pain, discomfort, or downtime.

What is Hyaluronic Acid and Why Is it Important for Youthful Looking Glowing Skin?

One of the most important ingredients in the HydraFacial® treatment is Hyaluronic Acid. This collection of carbohydrate molecules is naturally produced by the human body, and mainly found in neural tissues, umbilical cords, eye fluids, and connective tissues.

Hyaluronic Acid is extremely beneficial to the human body. It primarily retains liquids to keep tissues lubricated. In addition, it acts as a type of “shock absorber,” protecting joints and other stress-heavy areas from impacts.

As we get older our bodies produce less Hyaluronic Acid, causing wrinkles, dry skin, rough texture, and other skin health problems. This is why Hyaluronic Acid is used so often in many cosmetic treatment plans.

Why Does a HydraFacial® Use Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic Acid is used in HydraFacial® treatments because of its ability to plump and hydrate the skin. It’s one of the body’s natural miracle cures, featuring anti-aging as well as antioxidant properties. Hyaluronic Acid will simultaneously bond to both collagen and water molecules. This traps water within the skin, hydrating it. The result is smooth, bright vibrant skin, with less fine lines and wrinkles.

Hyaluronic Acid adds moisture to the skin without stripping anything away, so there is no downtime required. Hyaluronic Acid’s antioxidant properties also protect your skin against free radicals such as smoke, pollution, and other irritants.

Because Hyaluronic Acid is a natural product of the human body it works with all skin types, regardless of ethnicity, skin tone, sensitivity, or age. Even people with oily skin who are prone to break-outs can greatly improve their appearance and overall skin health with treatments using Hyaluronic Acid.

What are the Boosters you can also get with a HydraFacial® Treatment?

The HydraFacial® system uses only ingredients that have been thoroughly tested for safety, quality, and overall effectiveness. Each ingredient is specifically chosen for its special properties and bio-compatibility to limit side effects and other complications. Whenever possible all-natural ingredients are used.

HydraFacial® uses Salicylic Acid, a valuable booster known for its unique ability to penetrate the skin, targeting and dissolving oily deposits and debris deep in the pores. This attribute makes it a common ingredient in acne medications.

Many other ingredients used in HydraFacial® boosters are extracted from the natural world. They are valued for their healing and protective qualities.

Algae Extract is an extremely effective hydrating antioxidant, detoxifying your skin to give it a smooth, radiant glow. It is also rich in vitamins and nutrients and is known to inhibit harmful enzymes that can break down collagen and Hyaluronic Acid.

Horse Chestnut Seed Extract is an amazing antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It protects your skin even as it reduces swelling and soothes symptoms such as itching. Because it is known to absorb light, this extract is also very effective at preventing sun damage on your skin.

Arnica Flower Extract is used in HydraFacial® treatments because of its soothing, medicinal qualities. It acts as an antibiotic, destroying fungi and bacteria on the skin. This booster also stimulates circulation, which increases skin healing and reduces pain and inflammation.

How Much Do HydraFacial® Treatments Cost?

HydraFacial® treatments are extremely affordable. A single treatment can cost $300 to $500.

How often should you get a Hydrafacial?

Liftique recommends monthly treatments to keep your skin healthy and hydrated, you may also elect to have the HydraFacial® treatments done on a quarterly basis.

Liftique is more than happy to work with you on a financing plan that fits your budget and needs.

As we get older our bodies produce less Hyaluronic Acid, causing wrinkles, dry skin, rough texture, and other skin health problems. This is why Hyaluronic Acid is used so often in many cosmetic treatment plans.

"Liftique brought my skin to another level, and my gal cannot believe it. Thank you"

I went in for the Hydrafacial cleansing and a slight peal, extract and hydrate and a layer of antioxidants to safeguard from nature's elements. I WAS AMAZED. Hedi (the Physician Assistant) did it all. Btw, I never thought I'd need anything like this. WHY? I'm a 60 year old MALE. I'm in the gym 5 days/week, I cycle, and I eat perfect. Occasional sunscreen was all I thought I needed. When they showed me all the crap that came out of my pours I was dumbfounded. Guys like me DO NEED treatments like this. LIFTIQUE brought my skin to another level, and my gal cannot believe it. Thank you and I'm not embarrassed to tell everyone about this wonderful treatment. Love the Instant Gratification too!!! ... and yes, Hedi, I'm trying to put on sunscreen 2-3 times a day!!! It's in my truck!!!!

Thx- Sean M. of HB
